Have you seen this website? https://www.khanacademy.org/commoncore
Yes, the qualifications of the teachers or organizers may be impressive. But the question is, are they able to teach the students who are generally only six years old children to learn through creativity. They need a nurture environment to develop their creativity and to prepare them as asset to their future and country. They may working high position in many companies/ organization, but are they qualified to teach children? To teach children is not same as to lead a company or to develop anything like social media. Teaching children is a tough, but most enjoyable job if it is your thing! To encourage curiosity in the mind of the student is the main purpose of a teacher or instructor.
Not much of Khan Academy is oriented to 6 yr olds
Khan Academy has some brilliant guys in technology, but are they the same in teaching? Running a software company or designing a homepage of Google is not same as teaching. Showing creativity in an organization is easier and a lot different than gaining success in teaching. These guys appear to have an excellent tech background but they dont have any background in teaching that I could find.
