The college kid environmentalists aren’t going to like this. They think all the animals are friends that get along. It’s men who are evil killers on the planet. They’ve watched too many Disney movies.

Enough from the “humans should be more like the gentle animals” crowd. Animals are heartless killers.

Great pics.

Dolphins can be mean, too. I think Killer Whales are actually in the dolphin family, too.

Incredible. Just think how much energy it takes to accelerate 16,000 pounds upwards through water to get 15 feet up in the air. It’s no wonder the orca was persistent. If you’re expending those kinds of calories when you hunt, you’ve got to score.

I just can’t imagine the strength that required! Propel THAT up through water and airborne? After he had been exerting himself for 2 hours? How high could he jump when he was ‘fresh’ for the hunt???!!!

The dolphin was just the appetizer.

And to think, we have millions of Americans that won’t lift 150 pounds 3 feet off the couch to go look for a job.

Dolphins and Killer Whales are closely related and they're both related to other whales. So in the case of the Killer Whales eating Dolphins, it's almost cannabalism.

A few years back I was in a 14’ runabout with two teenagers watching a pod of killer whales off Read Island at the mouth of Bute Inlet when they got on the short chase of a Stellar’s sea lion.

They tossed that thousand pound beast back and forth like a rag doll. We went back to the dock with our hearts in our throats, believe me!

Or, attend a Townhall meeting, protest OCare, or go vote!
