Got to agree. Never heard of a pack of cats much less attack cats. Cats do not attack in packs. Nor do they attack prey substantially larger. This is BS.
I have to agree that this is BS unless maybe the entire pack had rabies. I worked in Camden, NJ for 16 years. There was a colony of feral cats on a deserted parking lot across from where I worked. They never attacked anyone or anything. They hid from dogs and people even people that fed them. No way this is true.
I witnessed cats attacking as a pack. Years ago we were going on vacation so we brought our black lab out to some friend’s farm. They said they would watch her. The people had a few sheep and packs of dogs had attacked the sheep so we brought our dog out to see how she would do. She was a good natured dog so she was fine with the sheep. So while we were talking our lab was sniffing around when she got to close to where the barn cats had their kittens. It was horrendous. Those barn cats swarmed the dog before she could react. The cats were taking turns jumping on her face and were all over her. The poor dog tried to get away but she was cornered. We quickly intervened and the barn cats backed off. Well we did leave the dog there for two weeks and when we came back we found that our dog had run off other dogs and that the barn kittens loved her. The kittens would lay all over her and play and she just ignored them.
Lions manage it.
