I’m sure that poodle was racially profiled by those cats...
Since when to house cats hunt in prides?
You left out LaTrina, Denarius, LaSqueesha, and DeTona (pronouned like “Daytona”).
Now, that’s funny!
Yeah, but that isn’t what I remember the mother doing.
I witnessed cats attacking as a pack. Years ago we were going on vacation so we brought our black lab out to some friend’s farm. They said they would watch her. The people had a few sheep and packs of dogs had attacked the sheep so we brought our dog out to see how she would do. She was a good natured dog so she was fine with the sheep. So while we were talking our lab was sniffing around when she got to close to where the barn cats had their kittens. It was horrendous. Those barn cats swarmed the dog before she could react. The cats were taking turns jumping on her face and were all over her. The poor dog tried to get away but she was cornered. We quickly intervened and the barn cats backed off. Well we did leave the dog there for two weeks and when we came back we found that our dog had run off other dogs and that the barn kittens loved her. The kittens would lay all over her and play and she just ignored them.
Agreed. Very implausible.

Ha...you forgot Latrinea
Is July 26th their April Fools Day?
Hmmm. Demarius is close to Demaris which was the name of the daughter of one of my direct ancestors who came over on the Mayflower. As names go, it was one I did not expect to find in my research since it sounded more like a made up “african” name. She was not the only child in that line of the family who had an odd name. Her brother Oceanus was born on the Mayflower enroute to the new world. I have wondered whether blacks realize that Demarius means ‘of the god mars’. It is a boy’s name of English origin that generally has no nicknames. Demarius is found in Roman mythology and is not very common in English-speaking countries anymore. Certainly not a name of african origin.
Great story. I had some interaction with feral cats with kittens many years ago. They were insane wild, especially the kittens.
Don’t forget PLACENTA
LOLOL! Love your catalog of cat names!
Purina, Neslie and Raetheon. You can name kids after companies, too.
My father used to say some of the names came off of boxcars.
“Attack of the French Feral Cats” sounds like the perfect double-feature partner for “Sharknado”.
Actually, I wrote “Denarius,” which is a Roman monetary unit.

You forgot “Female” pronounced “Fe MAH-lee” The hospital even gave her a neat little pink bracelet with her name on it.
