I remember that too. Geraldo got his nose fixed the next day IIRC.

There was also a news magazine with the bloody nosed Geraldo on the cover. The title said: "Trash TV".

25 years later and things haven't changed that much.

The difference today is that the TV "fights" are fake.

Back in the Geraldo/ Morton Downey days they were real.
