....our bear seems to have moved on from the 'hood. Thankfully I walk the streets at night unafraid again.Today is LAKE day. Keuka Lake here I come. Some wine tasting with a view of the lake, then we will settle in at the cottage and relax with family. I hope I remember to get up early tomorrow morning to open the classroom, we’ll be late getting home tonight.
Had another rough day in the ‘hood yesterday. One of our drivers, our former mayor, keeled over with a heart attack. Spent the evening with his daughter at the ER taking care of things. Nice man, he will be missed here in the village. Death seems to be stalking us. Took care of my other neighbor’s husband’s feeding tube as she was at another ER with her daughter. Busy times here, glad to be getting away.
