“whats he do...nibble your bum”
I ROR, evertime I see that clip.
And she did ask for help. It wasn’t one of those Mars/Venus things where she wanted empathy.
At least i dont think so.
In any event, never ask an engineer for help unless you want an answer.
XS, I’m just grateful the copier glass didn’t break...talk about having some painful ‘splaining to do
Monty is hysterical
at xsbaby’s grad party, we put my xsbro, the chem engineer, next to my friend Janice’s husband, who is a naval engineer [is that what they call the ones who build boats. i guess mechanical with a specialization in boats?] so they could bore the hell out of each other for the duration! LOL! engineers are a special breed, all pedantic, and largely pains in the a@@ : )
Ships, not boats. ;-)
Sarah is going for her top braces this afternoon. No more crunchy or sticky stuff.
best not to come home with a big caramel apple and a bag of popcorn then....
Is he telling me I’m number 1? ROR!
I thought you were our Wall St. go-to guy. Thank you very much. Double A+ for you too!
And I truly appreciated it. Thank you. I like to learn new things.
Pascual Scourge is perfect for the big ego midget.
You’re not the only one. In HS, we knew practically every line. They don’t make classics like that any more. Our poor kids.
I made a mistake last night
I caught some lamestream news-
I was looking to be entertained,
But an apercu of those views
Had me grabbing the remote,
To avoid exploding my head-
I turned on History channel
To watch Ancient Aliens instead
That show is certainly weird-
But I didn’t find it any worse
Than talking heads repeating
The same crap, chapter and verse...
Well done, A+ for you. We watched a Duck Dynasty marathon.
My second grader knows the answers to the whole witch trial......he’s going to be a Science Major.
I love Cleese in that scene. His expressions are priceless. I’m glad you are teaching your kiddos important cultural reference points. I quiz my kids on music in the car all the time - Who’s this band? Who is in the band? They roll their eyes but if they can correct me on how to say Gangnam style, turnabout is fair play!
“All pedantic”
My first husband was a P.E.-he was one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever known, especially when it came to higher math. He certainly could be pedantic, though-if I went to a seminar with him, I would do what you did- leave him talking to all the other engineers while I joined the collection of other wives near the buffet table or bar...
He did teach me to love drawing plans, though, and how a structure in harmony with the setting can be both functional and attractive.
