I don't know what you think he doesn't get because I think he is right on. I have known several black people very well and they have been taught by their elders that the white man is not going to let them do anything. They are still talking about when Bush bombed the levees in New Orleans to kill black people. I remember hearing that drugs were introduced to destroy blacks. They are still slaves in their own minds.

I would like to see some of them take a trip to Africa and visit some of the villages that are at the end of the road.
See what their lives would be like if they had never been brought here as slaves, if they still lived in Africa. No one would want to stay. Let them come back and see what they told the others.

If I was black I would be so grateful that I had been delivered from Africa. What a hell hole!

My last line where I commented was “I think he gets it.” I’ve been reading his columns for a long time and find him extremely insightful and common-sensical. Occasionally I do have to look up some of the words he uses. LOL! But to most of the racists he’s just “uppity” and a sell out. And I agree that a lot of these folks, who were sold by their fellow tribesmen, are slightly better off(sarc) than if their ancestors hadn’t been sold. A quick trip to the dark continent and the horrific living conditions there should have them kissing the ground when they get back stateside.
