Why would the Canaanite ruler of Tel Kabri want to adorn his palace with Aegean art reminiscent of Crete’s Minoan frescoes?

His wife was Minoan! Made her happy and it was cheaper than vacationing in Crete.

There is a really good novel about Crete, the Illuminati, Moon Goddesses, etc titled “Waking The Moon”.

I forgot the author’s name but it really gets into a lot of history and mysticism without taking the whole Illuminati stuff too seriously. Well it is serious in the book but the author admits she doesn’t really believe any of that stuff.

Maybe the Caananites had their roots in Minoan culture.
