This is so disgusting. Why mothers buy their girls Barbie, let alone this junk is beyond me.
This was all a deliberate push to drive little girls away from role-playing as mothers by using baby dolls. And look what we have ended up with.
NPR’s Morning Edition did a report on the Monster High craze a few mornings ago, and of course they loved it. Barbie represents the WASP mean girl establishment while the MH girls are a counterculture. They fretted about what impossibly thin arms and legs the MH girls have but were comforted by the fact that some of them were into environmental activism and vegetarianism.
That is not a good thing, IMO.
