I trust your sources about as much as I suspect you would trust Alex Jones.

The question is: who actually does the research? Who actually hires people who do statistical analysis? Who does the actual work, and who does unfounded speculation?

I do not trust Alex Jones or whoever else in the seedy underbelly of conspiracyland, not necessarily because I disagree with their worldview (although I generally do disagree), but because they do not do the boring, thorough work that statistical analysis requires.

I do not trust the banks and big money people. Most of the time they are fairly accurate but they do not tell the whole truth. Bloomberg has become quite questionable lately. Forbes is just another one of “them”. I take it all with a grain of salt. Finding the really rich people is kinda like finding players at Benghazi.
