I went to a Tiger’s game a couple of years ago and the National Anthem was sung by the players children in a Spanish/American mix. It was their Latin American day and the team played as La Tigres.
All the teams also play a couple of games in the Negro League uniforms and I happen to think its cool.
Baseball would be unwatchable to a committed racist.
Sounds fun. I think the last time I was at a baseball game was the Oklahoma City team, so it must have been earlier than 1999.
