My favorite was by Simon, “Kodachrome”. A really swinging song.

Ah, Kodachrome, a sentimental favorite of mine--it was playing on the radio the moment I parked my car in front of my family's home, to which I had returned after successfully completing four years of college. However, there's another song that was moving up the charts at the time that I like even better:

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (of Company B)--The Andrews Sisters (1973)

IMO the perfect rock and roll song has already been written.

“American Pie”. It is just chock full of hidden meaning and you know they really do mean something, not just odds and ends thrown into a song to make people guess, and the writer has no idea what they mean.

They took his Kodachrome away in 2009 and its processing ended in 2010.
