Alternative theory...what's the neighborhood like? It was 1 am...was the area well lit...a female could easily approach an officer with a concealed weapon..
Why are we so quick to judge and condemn this cop?
Most people have NO idea what police deal with and face every day..they have to exercise split seconds judgment..with no margin for error. Here in Tampa last year, TWO police officers were killed when they made a routine stop of a car. The driver was out on parole, and his girlfriend, who was in the front seat, did NOT tell the cops that he had a concealed weapon. They were shot down like dogs by this piece of garbage...
I suggest that all of you so quick to lay blame sign up for a ride along with your local PD..
How ‘bout that. Both “white” Hispanics....
Well, it looks like some are even willing to defend a government employee assaulting an innocent, law-abiding woman.
Being a cop doesn’t even rank in the top 10 (ten) most dangerous jobs in America. So whats your problem?
Why are you so quick to side with the cop here. His own supervisors released the woman immediately upon finding out what happened, his own department investigated his conduct, and his own department arrested him for aggravated assault.
Really? That's your defense of the cop's actions?
Many years ago, my car's battery died during a snowstorm. I was parked in a big-city parking lot at the time. So I walked up to a cop to ask him where the nearest garage was.
Under your theory, I'm lucky I didn't get a beating for approaching the officer.
Yep...walk by a traffic stop. IT makes you want to sneak up on the cop with a concealed weapon and assault his fist with your face. Good thing she wasn’t walking her poodle. She clearly weighs about 120 pounds to the porkers 180-200. Sorry, I don’t accept knocking her teeth out as an excuse for this one...
Tell me this is sarcasm.
No, they are not kidding. The folks around here who post these kind of threads seem to think it proves something about LOEs, in general. And, they will tear at you for hours if you disagree.
They have an antinomian, anarchical bent to their remarks screaming for heads and imprisonment of men/women making split second decisions. Meanwhile, they sit in their Barcoloungers burping up cheap beer and scratching their crotches. And that is just the women.
No, they won't go out and protect us themselves, but they sure have loud mouths and bad opinions about the officers who do. And, they will spew hate and venom toward anyone who disagrees with their vile cult. Now, watch the flames...
Obviously the officer is suffering from George Zimmerman syndrome. /s
If the Police officers are too “scared” or “paranoid”, they need to find a new job, not react in such a fashion as this punk.
It’s a shame what happened in Tampa, but that’s also part of the job, and bad people are going to do bad things regardless of the precautions taken by officers, but in the end, this type of reaction by that punk was uncalled for, period, and to stand up for his actions with your reasoning leads me to believe that you haven’t read all the way through this article and you’re way too quick to come to his defense considering his transgressions.
I’m happy to lay blame where it belongs, quickly or not. Your “excuses” are very thin and do nothing to change my opinion of this punk.
It’s much easier to lick boots if you’re on your knees. Putting your backside way up will make it easier for the cops partner to do his business, too.
>> “Why are we so quick to judge and condemn this cop?” <<
.
Now we know what kind of excrement you’re made of.
That is called paranoia. How many cops have been killed by ANYONE simply walking up to them in the last 10 years?
” I suggest that all of you so quick to lay

I suggest you do a ride along for a police beat down or paranoid shooting. It is easy to make excuses for bad judgement, if others pay the pricefor your mistakes.
Did you read the article? Or is your defense of uniformed thugs kneejerk?
