Tragedy and inevitablity are not mutually exclusive.

Is the death of those teens a tragic situation for the parents of the teens? The parents weren’t driving, and yet their lives have been blown apart.

You shall reap that which you sow. Yes, despite the best upbringing people still do stupid things, but quite often, people that do really stupid things can reflect on poor upbringing, bad parenting, poor education, bad character development, bad associations.

Sure, it is a sad event for the parents, but what is tragic is they didn’t do a better job of rearing their kids. If my kid did something as stupid as drinking and driving and killing himself and someone else, my thoughts would NOT be oh my poor son or what a tragedy my son suffered. No. I would recognize the tragedy or near tragedy he caused.

Were Hitler’s parents still alive at the time of his death would your thoughts be about their loss?
