MSNBC anchor Melissa Harris-Perry nearly broke down in tears in the wee hours of Sunday morning while describing her reaction and the reaction of her 11-year-old daughter to the not guilty verdict of George Zimmerman.
After a fellow anchor referenced Harris-Perrys initial comments that black parents will need to hold their children a little closer following the jurys decision, she became emotional.
I think part of the reason I was having that reaction was because my 11-year-old is apparently shes home with her father and she was watching, and texted me that she felt like there was no justice in America. And my big sister told me that her 12-year-old son had gotten in bed with them tonight, she said, her voice cracking and appearing to fight back tears.
Oops, wrong thread.
This tale doesn't come close to the "ring of truth". Did the children also make the parents check under the bed, and in the closets for George Zimmerman?
Whether this is true or not depends on how brainwashed the children are...
Why would you breakdown in tears when Justice has prevailed?
Why break down in tears when common sense trumped political agendas?
Why not rejoice in the fact the rule of law and everything that is good about America triumphed over race hatred politics and all that is bad about America...
If the professionally outraged class gets their way here, how long until lost elections elicit the same response/reaction?
Dittos!
Sue baby sue...
Yeah, I know, Melissa. And just imagine what the parents of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom feel!!!!!!!
LMBO!!!
These animals at MSNBC are really trying to instigate a long hot summer, as if it might help their ratings.
By the way, I saw on Drudge that MSNBC got absolutely crushed in the ratings during the Zimmerman trial and verdict watch.
Crying because Zimmerman wasn’t railroaded into a guilty verdict. Oh please, give me a break.
America sure has way more than their fair share of idiots these days.
The left won’t rest until the last remnants of liberty and human dignity are pulled down and trampled in the mud.
The English notion that a criminal suspect is innocent until the state proves him guilty was one of the great ideas of all history, and is a huge limit on state power. I get that the left wants this impediment removed, but I’m just a little bit sad that so many people are so vocal about wanting to abandon this idea.
Or maybe not. Maybe enough of the center left is looking at this brazen spectacle, and muttering “enough of this”.
“America sure has way more then their fair share of idiots’’<<, And almost all of them too stupid to deserve the title.
