After watching the movie, 'The Last Ride', I dug into the story a bit more, only to learn the driver past away just two weeks ago.

The movie seemed to be pretty accurate, and was enjoyable, with some good music, especially an excellent rendition of 'I'm so Lonesome I could cry' by Jett Williams.

Here is a link to the story referenced above: Hank Williams' last ride: Driver recalls lonesome end

If you ever get a chance to see “Hank Williams The Show He Never Gave” do it.

Sneezy Waters is just excellent.

I respect and enjoy Hank William's music very much.

However, I still can't help but sing along with the Austin Lounge Lizards when they play I Want To Ride In The Car Hank Died In

Well they say Hank was a pretty good "country singer."

I done listened to some of his songs and I must say they are very good.

While Jimmie Rodgers claims the title Father of Country Music, Hank Senior was the one who electrified country music as Elvis did rock and roll. Sadly, both met similar fates.

I don’t have vivid memories of many things in my life but this one I do. I was living with my grandparents in a very rural area. It was a cold day and I was sitting by the wood stove and listening to the radio when the news came that Hank had been found dead.

I was shocked and I can remember thinking, “No, not Hank, not Hank!”

He was my idol. No one could put raw emotions into songs like Hank.
