You can find fossilized shark teeth around the great lakes in some spots.

I found one when I was a kid in Colorado, which used to be the beach area of the Gulf of Mexico.

LOTS of fossilized megaladon teeth....Just gotta stay away from the rivers banks....too many gators!...
Oh yeah, and at slack tide, there are bull sharks coming in from the ocean.
