Actually, the Basque people in northern Spain and southern France are vastly different from the rest of the people in Spain and France. Different culture, different language (Euskera). It was "common knowledge" in Spain when I was growing up that the Basques were the Lost Tribes, LOL. I don't believe that, but it shows that everybody knew they were different!

Some Jews in Spain and some Celts share a particular blood disease. I read this years ago. I was told that the Celts were the Lost Tribes.
