I even remember when cordless phones were a novelty & people thought they could call from the bathroom while on the throne and not be found out as to where they were.

‘Butt dialing’ is when your phone is in your back pocket or nearby and part of your anatomy presses against the keypad, accidentally redialing the last number or another number from your phone list.

As in, I sat on my cell phone and dialed you by mistake.
