Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Thursday that he will visit Israel in October, a move that signals to the political world that he is seriously considering making another presidential run in 2016.
We will be going to Israel to bring together Arabs, Christian and Jews in an educational forum, Mr. Perry told The Washington Times in an interview just three days after he announced he would not seek an unprecedented fourth term as Texas governor.
Many analysts interpreted that decision as evidence that he is setting the table for a White House campaign. Asked what would induce him to announce a run, he told The Times that he has plenty of time to make that decision.

Well duh. Longest-serving governor in American history; successful; Texas; tired of being governor; good looking; all that jazz...of course he's running again. Just hope he's off the back-surgery narcotics by the time of the debates.
He did a great job as the leader and steward in Texas -- jobs, jobs, jobs. He'll make a fantastic anti-Obama, or die trying.

I’m sure he’s not perfect, so 7 million conservatives will simply stay home.

Trips to kiss the ring in Israel are a pretty good sign his priorities are confused. Pass.

I wish he would have won the last time around. Total opposite of what we have now. Would like to see a POTUS who would not want to insist the Jews give up any their land.
To: Jonty30
He is a genuine conservative IMO. I didn't stay home last time but I did not vote for either liberal.
If he runs he has my support..

If and when Perry completes his term in January 2015 he will just crack the Top 10 at 5,144 days served.

When it comes to defending a man who can't remember the 3rd item on a list of 3, you may be right.
I did a quick search and discovered this. I found it to be both informative and interesting. Thanks for pointing out the inaccuracy.

(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both.)

I wonder when SB2 will get to his desk so he can sign it into law? The Pro-Aborts in TX are acting like rabid hyenas.
When Rand Paul made snarky remarks about Perry the other day, I knew he figured Perry was going to run. I would vote for Perry in a heartbeat.
