Shep is just a prissy little ass-hat.

He inserts comments as “toss aways” trying to be an every man. The problem is that much of the time his toss-away lines are simply inaccurate or biased in a way that makes his delivery of any real news suspect.

My God, there are people on MSNBC that do a better job reporting the news.

I must admit I didn’t see Fox that day, but I distinctly remember various news stories showing an essentially undamaged NO soon after the sun came up. I remember one shot of downtown buildings with few if any broken windows.

The bulk of the storm was indeed to the east, as I spent the ensuing several months working to help clean up the damage in MS.

Final landfall was ~40 miles east of NO, and the damage as always was greater on the east side of landfall than the west.
