Sadly, I agree.
The jury will decide that regardless of how badly the prosecution presented the case, the only real point to consider is the explosion of racial hatred and violence that will result if Zimmerman walks free.
They will decide that Zimmerman was at least partially responsible for what happened, even if not quite up to the 2nd degree murder level, so if the lumps he has to take are a bit stronger than he deserves, he can console himself with the fact that he is making a sacrifice to preserve peace and harmony.
Needs of the many, you understand... Stiff upper lip, all that.
Not that it will make the slightest bit of difference. There will still be riots, but hey, this way they will be “Happy Riots”.
