Hmmm, I am speculating that this just might an interesting development for DNA based computing ... depending on the two expression’s selectability. Might it be used as an AND gate??

So a mutant RNA doing a little more than it should, turning out extra proteins on the side. They probably can’t fix the mutation itself, but at least they know where the bad proteins are coming from. I don’t even know if it’s possible to somehow deactivate a gene, or part of the RNA itself.
