30 years ago the daughter married a divorced drunkard, child deserter and wife beater. (first wife) He continued drinking, beat the daughter regularly. One day he beat her so badly that he put her in the hospital.
The elderly lady begged her to leave him- and to make a long story short, the daughter told her to stay out of her life and from then on she was 'dead to her'.
That was 30 years ago- and they have not seen each other since. The daughter still lives with this monster in a city about 200 miles away.

Children can break a mother’s heart. I know. Mine was broken recently by my one and only child, my daughter.
