Monday July 4, 1988 Who has been listening to Rush since then? - Vanity
Posted on 07/04/2013 1:31:04 PM PDT by SMGFan
I heard Rush on WABC when he first started his local show on 07/04/1988. He began a national show separate from NYC on August 1st (?) I remember the Iran Air Flight 665 being shot down. I have listened to him ever since.
Has anyone else listened to him regularly since then? Is Rush still relevant 25 years later?

Not me, but close, I’ve been a listener since 1989 although when I was 5 or 6, I vaguely remember him as Jeff Christie here in Pittsburgh.

Before Rush all I could listen to were Bob Grant or Barry Farber. I tired of Morton Downey JR.

"Is Rush still relevant 25 years later?" You answered your own question when you asked the question!!!
AND, honestly, if you really have to ask, you probably won't understand when you get the answer.

I’ve listened since around ‘92
He’s still pretty entertaining and he’s right way more than he’s wrong.

When he appeared on WSJS in Winston Salem NC, I started listening. It was one of the early stations I think.
