Quartering refers to soldiers being furnished with housing.

Unless they decide to stay there at least overnight, I don’t see how you can call it housing them.

As I said, if the story is entirely true, which as always with legal complaints is a big IF, then they probably had one or more of the rights violated. Just not 3A.

Legal terms mean what they mean, not what you think they ought to mean.

Okay, then how about THEFT for raiding the refrigerator in the unlawfully confiscatedd HOME, combined with the unlawful confinement of said home’s residents?
