Additionally, if you go to the master volume control for your computer and mute your audio from that control, you'll find that - as soon as you mouse over the Sun-Sentinel page in your browser - your audio magically un-mutes, and you're listening to the ad again at full volume.

I solved that problem by using an old pair of computer speakers with their own independent volume control. I simply turn the volume down or off during those obnoxious ads.
