You can’t secure the border by giving amnesty to tens of millions of illegals. You can only secure it by pressuring illegals to leave.

“Secure the border” is BS, a lie to get Americans to support legalization. If they wanted to secure the border that is the legislation they would pass, not amnesty.

so if Hispanics are so against Abortion then why do they all seem to flock to Dems and especially Obama?

He doesn’t. He is trying to sell the bill. “Border Security” gives (some) cover to ‘Pubbies otherwise reluctant to risk the wrath of voters.

The above was a rhetorical question to get my point across but a couple of serious points on the above :

1) Rubio has avoided the explicit argument that we need his Senate bill to get the GOP votes.
Instead he is more lawyer-like saying that Hispanics are conservatives just like us who share our values and will under a Rubio economy will pay lots of taxes and be successful. McCain and Grahamnesty are the ones who keep saying the GOP needs those votes from this bill.

2) The reason why Rubio and the other stick on this border argument and stay away from arguing about legalization and amnesty and taxes/benefits (in any useful detail) is the former about the border is not a person to offend. 'I want to give you all our rights but Obama and that border keeps stopping it'
And he adds a dig at Obama on the border too as candy to us dumb conservatives.
