As part of a deal signed last week in Washington DC between the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry and FEMA, Russian officials will provide security at mass events in the United States, a scenario that wont sit well with Americans wary of foreign assets operating on US soil.
According to a press release by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense and Emergencies, US and Russian officials met on June 25 at the 17th Joint U.S.-Russia Cooperation Committee on Emergency Situations.
...
the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry will also be providing security at mass events in the United States.

Its a toss up in my opinion.
On one hand, you can get Russians to brutalize Americans easier than you can get American to do so, but on the other hand, its about impossible to get Americans to shoot Americans in uniform, but a lot easier to shoot some Russian brutalizing American people.
Just another stupid idea by the Fools in charge I suspect.
All I know is, I would not want to be one of those Russians, any more than I would want to be an American playing cop in Russia.
Yeah, but so does the entire internet.
How is this different? In Africa we pay for it, in America we will pay the Russians.
Oh, I see your point.
Was the writer of RED DAWN a visionary?
these people aren’t just emt’s and doctors and firefighters as someone here tried to persuade us they were.
if they are doing security that ain’t emt work or firefighting work.
At least we could trust the Russians not to come here and foist gay pride and gay ambassadors on us.
So where is the original Russian press release? Could you share it with us?
Yes, we do.
I wonder what's up with that!
Will they issue the Russians with deodorant ?

The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry and the USA Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are going to exchange experts during joint rescue operations in major disasters. This is provided by a protocol of the fourth meeting of the U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission Working Group on Emergency Situations and seventeenth meeting of Joint U.S.-Russia Cooperation Committee on Emergency Situations, which took place in Washington on 25 June.
The document provides for expert cooperation in disaster response operations and to study the latest practices.
In addition, the parties approved of U.S.-Russian cooperation in this field in 2013-2014, which envisages exchange of experience including in monitoring and forecasting emergency situations, training of rescuers, development of mine-rescuing and provision of security at mass events.
At the end of the meeting the parties expressed their satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United States in the area of emergency prevention and response and agreed to develop it in order to respond efficiently to all kinds of disasters.

There is no mention of the Olympics.
... or of there being only “one guy”, as you put it.
Here is my understanding of the press release:
- the meeting was of a committee, not “one Russian guy”;
- the commisssion is “presidential”, i.e. directly between Putin and Obama;
- the document, of which we do not have a copy, “provides for expert coordination in disaster response operations and to study latest practises”;
- “exchange of experience” is modified by “including in monitoring and forecasting emergency situations” (”in”?, Foggy Bottom need grammarians); the balance of the sentence are a further unmodified list of three items, including “provision of security at mass events”.
WND may be unreliable, but there is a serious issue here.
obama is setting the stage for 2015 and 2016 when he announces he is going to seek a third term and campaigns in 2016. Anyone who believes that obama is leaving theWhite House voluntarily is only deluding themselves.
Not good news—they will shoot Americans if they must. What are they Mercenaries for Obama—his Hessians? This aint good folks.
I guess the Russians are better at securing a stadium than the Israelis./s
Maybe... this is the way he will disarm the American citizen...
