Court Yard Hounds
Not that many years ago, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire filled the Bradley as two thirds of the Dixie Chicks. But the Chicks have been on a long vacation, and to fill the time, Robison and Maguire started another group they call Court Yard Hounds.

Cactus Pete's in Jackpot, Nevada is a good source of who is one step away from obscurity. Paul Revere and the Raiders played there for several years and then, ?
Good place for the Ditsy Twits.
No. She wasn't.
I just like Space Grass dude, I aint into all the world noodling stuff LOL
OK you've lost me. You said that one of the Dixie Chicks, Mel B, was a judge on a TV show.
“So Mel B was in the Spice Girls and the Dixie Chicks?”
Dixie Spice?
Ah me Sammy boy. Have known him since he was a long-haired hippie youngster. Has always been an innovator on the Mandolin. He was flat out crazy and never cared who did or did not like his music. Some ole-timer bluegrass purists couldn’t stand him. He’s still my favorite Mandolin artist next to my son.
LOL...right you are. Shows my age I guess, they're all the same to me!
Great...Sam Bush, an all-time favorite. He brought Emmy Lou Harris’s, Hot Band up two notches when he joined.
My favorite New Grass CD is “Friday Night in America”.
Another group that is riddled with history and one of my favorites is Desert Rose Band...Chris Hillman and Herb Pederson have a fairly recent CD, At Edwards Barn, which is very well done. They do some old Byrds stuff, (is there any other kind??) that is really good.
