My son and family had to go to Hawaii to attend a wedding this last week. The wife and I drove the 250 miles to their house to pick up their dog, bring it home with us and babysit it for a week. Like most FReepers, we’ve got a thing for animals. Especially dogs.

Our dogs go almost everywhere with us. We went shopping today and my wife said she thinks her separation anxiety is as bad as the dogs.

I do own 2 dogs and they do go with us vacation. If I have to board them the stay at a cage free facility where they play all day including a 20x25 pool and at night they sleep in houses with the staff and the other dogs. My dogs get treated like the members of the family they are.
