I give up....what do the numbers on the ketchup packets mean?

The higher the number the higher the sugar content in the pack. The number 1 is a low sugar and the ketchup looks more brown due to higher by ratio vinegar content. 5’s have the highest sugar by ratio and thus have a brighter red color to them.
