Dr. Pepper and Whataburger are what's missed the most by family who've had to leave the Lone Star state. When I visit Texas, I always try to eat at least one meal at a Taco Cabana. I don't believe any exist west of the Rio Grande.

When I visit Texas, I always try to eat at least one meal at a Taco Cabana. I don't believe any exist west of the Rio Grande. If you're ever in San Antonio, the original Taco Cabana location is still around. Their founder died awhile back.
