Already looking forward to the next 500.

But we need to pick up the pace. It took waaaaay too long to get to 500, considering how many confirmed, horrific murderers we have.

During George Dubya’s first run for the Presidency, I got the definite impression that he was personally responsible for all the large number of allegedly questionable (racist) executions in Texas, while taking time out to drag chain-bound black men to their death with pickup trucks.
Texas seems to have calmed down a lot. Time for another Texas Republican governor to run for President.

This being a special moment and milestone for the state, Texas should celebrate with flags, a parade, special interview with the criminal, televised last meal, and a historic public hanging.
