Because Europe has always hated Jews for centuries. The Catholic run places always disliked them badly. They were chased out of England, the Spanish rooted out crypto-jews in the inquisition, the French happily assisted the Nazis in deporting them.
A solid case can be made that historically, the French have been much more anti-Semitic than the normally blamed Germans.

A good video, but it has one big logical hole. If Europe is against Israel because it is a nation state when the EU is abandoning that, then why would Europe so deeply try to create a Palestinian nation state?

The answer about Europe’s attitude is still mostly good old fashioned Euro Jew hatred. If Israel came out as a Marxist state, a black nation, a moslem nation, an all homosexual nation, etc etc,, Europe would have no problem with them.

And remember who Europe has given us. Stalin, Hitler, the Ayatollah Khomeni, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, various royalties, etc. The list is long and breathtaking, and has produced few Washingtons, Grants, Eisenhowers, Madisons, etc.

Europe is not really the home of freedom.

Exactly. I think there is also a bit of connection between European anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.
