The court of public opinion is the only place they have any power. They are doing all they can. It matters not in a court of law, however.
The risk is that the frenzy into which they are whipping their racist followers will almost certainly explode when Zimmerman walks. If I lived anywhere near where this happened or any city with a large contingent of these folks I’d be armed to the teeth.
This sort of thing is one of the reasons I moved to Rural KY from Seattle. I expected it to get worse and I do now more than ever.
They are also “conveniently” timing the amnesty vote to take place at about the same time so if it goes down in flames the illegals will be marching in the streets.
Upchuck Schumer has said there will be protest if the bill doesn’t pass.
My wife tells me of a “race” riot in a Cuban community when she was a child. The rioters found that they were vastly outnumbered by another group who didn’t stand for that type of behavior. After the riot didn’t go well, they went to the hospitals where the Cuban staff politely declined to treat them. The Cuban police department however, was unable to find any wrong doing.
Race riots in Florida should be careful which community they pick for their racist antics. Not every culture is afflicted with white guilt.
Disruption, if any, will be in the usual places known for riot, South-Central LA and a few other cities with large black populations that are restive. I am actually guessing against Chicago, because all their murderousness has likely exhausted the usual agitators. Boston is a possibility.
Some of the cities with the highest black populations are in the South, with a strong inclination *against* rioting. Others, like Detroit and Flint Michigan, are used up.
Miami Gardens is the largest black majority city in Florida, but it is a middle and upper-middle class suburb, likely with zero interest in rioting.
At the start of the Zimmerman affair, agitators tried busing some black panthers to Florida, and even they could tell that trying to riot there would be suicidal. They got right back on their buses and left.
