I recall seeing a photo of a smokle plume /trail going up to the plane . As I recall , it was taken by a pilot of a plane flying in the vicinity who by happenstance ,had a camera in the cockpit .

There was no doubt about it as a plume /trail ; but unable to determine whether it was a trail going up , ..or down .
Mind you , that was a few years ago , but I am a visual type of person (but can’t seem to remember names for crap ).

That's interesting; I knew there were more witnesses but only vaguely remembered the one couple. It was twilight IIRC. I wonder if any of these clips haven't been deep-sixed? I felt horror for the people at first and can't remember when I came to doubt the official story. Also thought it was unlikely the Navy could have done it (not impossible) unless a rogue thing.

I can't say I'm certain it was a terrorist but I see these photos of those weapons in Libya, they look like big pointy grenades on broomsticks. I think what stupid govt lets people run aorund with those? But it wouldn't be too hard, well you know where I'm going with that. Aside from the more recent on the West Coast, there don't seem to have been any other incidents that could be attributable to missiles in the wrong hands.

It's only because of the witnesses I saw myself, in the early hours when a big story is breaking (I think more were at least mentioned) that I came to believe as I did. As things unfold, stories get "edited" but sometime the earliest versions are the correct ones.
