Here's the clip of Byrd babbling on about "white niggers"
And what bad things happened to this former Klansman, a one-time rabid segregationist, who personally filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act for 14 hours, and who voted against the 1965 Voting Rights Act. What price did he pay for such heinous actions?
Well, later on he admitted that he regretted them, and for such public acts of contrition and self flagellation, the good people of West Virgina re-elected him to the Senate, and his Democrat colleagues in the Senate elected him President Pro Tempore yet again, after his use of the "N" word, which made him THIRD in line for the Presidency, after VP Biden, and House Speaker Pelosi.
Paula, just post the video to your website...please..
I guess Paula isn’t the darling of the liberals as Byrd was. Some people can get away with anything. Others — one slip and it’s sayonara.
I am just glad that capitalism is alive and well. Food network can make choices it decides best for the company. She already was a drain on the network with her previous deception. This was an opportunity for the food network to get rid of her without making a big deal about it. Next time Paula - settle out of court like most do.
and loveable ahole Alec Baldwin who called a black person a coon on video a month ago.....nuthin but love
Well, I hear that Obama is proposing yet another federal regulation...requiring cooking shows to post the nutritional information for the recipes they air....can you imagine what Paula's would look like...
So that's why they they pushed her off the network..
huh? previous deception????
Paula Deen should have told the world to kiss her big fat ass and retired instead of grovelling. She also should have said “I personally know Jimmy Carter. And he said the word yesterday when he called me and said ‘Paula, I’m sorry you’re getting in trouble for saying n____ back in the 60s.’”
By the way, is it okay to call someone the n-word? Hillary said “effin’ Jews”. So, would it be proper to say “effin n-words”? Just trying to show how stupid all this is. I’ve heard “n-word” a lot over the past few years. I hardly ever hear the real word. So when will it be racist to say “n-word”?
Listen I don’t care a wit about either one. Being of German ancestry I’ve been called a NAZI all my life. Big deal. Who cares.
I would say it was Byrd. But the old Klegal [sp?] Srved his master, the Democrat Party faithfully for years. If there is any justice, I hope him and Ted are talking over old times in hell.I usually do not make light of the departed, but in Byrd’s case and Kennedy’s case, I will male an exception.
I don’t watch the food Network but i sent them an e-mail anyways stating that i never will.
Remember a few months back when Paula stated that she has never seen a woman eat as much food as mooch did during a guest appearence on her show.
hmmmmm......
I missed that..do you have a linkie?
Leftists doing what they do best. Destroying people. It was a slow news day. They needed to pick off a Whitey.
She should have blamed her racism on high blood sugar and her butter addiction.
Thanks ken5050.
Sheets Byrd spent decades in the US Senate advancing tyranny in many forms.
Byrd was, by far, the worse person.
Also the MSM did their best to cover for Byrd - something they’re NOT doing for Deen.
I found a story from the NYP
http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/paula_deen_responds_obama_her_reported_qytMVHp0FwGDGXRwDBX7GM
“Deen even recently told the Washington Examiner, [Michelle Obama] probably ate more than any other guest I ever had on the show! She kept eating even during commercials. Know what [the Obamas] favorite foods are? Hot wings.”
She paints a picture of Obama that’s a far cry from the first lady who was photographed holding a worm she pulled from a vegetable garden yesterday”
