Oh no, they will survive a while. They have had to survive in a world where everything that is not locked behind doors, chained to the floor, and wrapped with wire is stolen. The Obamaphone types (be they black, white, brown or yellow) know how to get what they want—when they need to.
They are used to violence and fighting. I haven’t lived that way for a long time. My kids have never lived that way.

I noticed you said "Until" not "Unless." Conservative working class suburbs like mine will shoot them a lot sooner than the ritzy liberal suburbs surrounding bigger cities like Philadelphia and New York.
I'm not so sure. I lived in the suburbs of Detroit during the 1967 Detroit riots and my neighbors were getting their guns out, expecting the rioting minorities to come marching up Woodward Avenue. But they never got far from their hood.
Most of these Obama-dependents have had the basic necessities of life like food and shelter given to them free of charge from big daddy government. The stealing they do is for things like $150 pair of sneakers or iPods, and they have stolen from people who are far less vigilant than they would quickly become in a SHTF scenario. These Obamanauts have never developed the slightest work ethic. Nor have they developed critical thinking skills or an ability to reason cause and affect beyond the affects of very simple immediate causes. In a true SHTF scenario they would not last.
One thing to note, when faced with greater strength or their imminent death, those inner city types suddenly change the attitude to “scuse me, we gots no problem, I gots da wrong address”.
