Not exactly. A sex addict of any sexual orientation should be able to get treatment from a mainstream psychiatrist (I assume that’s what you mean by a heterosexual wanting treatment for being “too sexual”). However, if the heterosexual expressed a desire to change his/her sexual orientation to homosexual, he/she would be told, truthfully, that that’s impossible. Treating sex addiction and changing sexual orientation are tow different things.
