The only time I have ever thought about the “N” word in relation to a person was with Barack Obama and yes it was deserved.

Not that I'm inclined to use the word, anyway, but I would never think of calling Obama a "nigger". Why? Because that word has a distinct place in American history for a distinct group of people - namely blacks, especially poor blacks. American blacks call each other "nigger" all the time, almost as a matter of pride, to show some solidarity as a group of people who have (in the past) endured oppression. Obama doesn't deserve that label, even as an insult. He is a half white, half God-knows-what, but presumably African, rich, pampered little sissy who has never known anything but coddling and privilege in his life. Calling Obama a "nigger" would give him sense of identity that he doesn't deserve and has not earned.

If I were going to call Obama a racial name, I'd call him a rich candy-ass white limousine commie.
