Cop Hits Little Girl With Motorcycle Then Shoots and Kills Angry Dad
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
Gee, Chicago, who would guess. Where only the police and criminals are armed.
And you can’t tell the difference!
Sure. But the statement holds true regardless. This is a binary. It is either OK to defend your life when attacked or it is not. It makes no difference who is attacking you.
In order for it to be ‘wrong’ we would have to abandon our most basic human right. The right to exist.
I am completely appalled at what I am reading on this thread.
I too am appalled that more people are identifying the person who *caused* the accident as the clear victim above a four year old *child*.
I as a general rule have never had the police do anything positive for me. They have sexually harassed my daughters and wife. They have never prevented a crime against me or my family. They have never solved any of the same crimes. I have seen them break the law on numerous occasions. I have seen them lie their asses of in court under oath. A friend of mine was questioning the local Sheriff's tactics and two deputies drug his girlfriend out of her car and beat the $hit out of her.
Oh, and I live in rural white America. I can understand (but not condone) the Father's reaction in this case being it was a big city the climate that exists in Chicago. Liberal fail.
If he’s smart, he would’ve realized the better choice to be flipping over the handlebars, instead of sliding the bike causing it to go further. Everybody knows that metal slides on a road better than rubber does.
I learned the hard way what happens when you squeeze the front brake on a bike too hard when going fast.
Taser?
You realize the cop laid his bike down to lessen the severity of the impact on the child and suffered a broken leg and shoulder as a result?
The nerve of us. Treating a four your old child as the real victim.
Clearly we should be spurned by respectable society.
I for one am not counting on that and I believe that anyone that is is delusional.
so what we learn here is an off-duty cop can deal with a trayvon martin moment, but a citizen like zimmerman cannot.
You realize that the cop was clearly driving at unsafe speeds in the first place, resulting in the accident which struck a four year old child?
[[Why is the fathers reaction focused on confrontation instead of first aid?]]
Was the cop white?
Yes, I realize that. Had he let himself get knocked out, what then?
Is the parent going to kill him and risk being a cop killer?
He was already willing to risk his own life to try to save another’s life, and then shoots the father? Something’s not adding up here.
yup.
This story was from 2012. Someone has an agenda here.
The police officer did nothing wrong.
Logic, my dear fellow. Logic.
If one’s *only two options* are to (a) bail from one’s vehicle in a vain hope to avoid hitting a child or (b) directly hit the child, the officer was clearly driving too fast.
That he didn’t consider, say, veering into a tree or pole or ditch or anything *offroad* suggests he was going to fast and was far too close to the victim and going to fast to avoid her at all costs.
Now you are making stuff up that is neither in the Blaze article nor the youtube news video.
How do you know he was traveling at an “unsafe” speed?
Adjust your skirt, your agenda is showing.
At what speed was he traveling? What is the posted speed limit? You know these things how? There's no mention about him blowing a light or a stop sign. There's nothing reported about him speeding. Until I see that, I'm convinced they ran out in front of him and left him no time to react except to down the bike or hit the kid.
Offer evidence to the contrary.
