It makes them feel superior. But I agree with all you said. Paying taxes doesn’t make you the boss of those who most had jobs all their lives and have had to cash in on what THEY paid for through the years. But you can’t make some Freepers understand that food stamps doesn’t equal non working bums. Some just underworking parents.
Maybe if they made food stamps more unpleasant by limiting choices, there would be fewer people on them.
I think you’d find that those who find themselves on temporary assistance don’t abuse it like those who have been on the dole for generations.
