I think that I shall never see
A person lovely as my Tree.
A Tree whose thirsty mouth is up
Against a giant Slurpee cup;
A Tree that sees a big bear claw
And slips it down inside her bra;
A Tree that says to meet her where
Two men and we a ride can share;
Into whose car I get right in,
And that is when the games begin.
Such dates are made by fools like me,
But none so odd as that with Tree.
“I went out with a ‘10’, but woke up to a Tree...”
