I have said for years; the Islamic extremists have only ONE Achille’s Heel - PORK.
If a glass vial were to be hung in every commercial airliner, marked boldly (in Arabic) “THIS VIAL CONTAINS THE BLOOD OF PIG” - we would have no need for the TSA. (No martyr wanna-be would take the chance of bringing down a plane if he might get splattered with pig’s blood.)

Used to work with an Iranian guy named Akbar. We’d call him “Snackbar” behind his back, not because he was Iranian, but because he was a jerk ;-)
It quickly morphed into “ala snackbar” And now we have the proper pork-enhanced products to bring it to the fore!
You know, I seriously doubt this. I have no doubt some ignorant Muslims somewhere developed such beliefs, much as folk beliefs developed in Catholicism among European peasants.
But I highly doubt that any educated Muslim mullah would pronouce such a doctrine as being actual Islamic teaching.
I do know that Muslim doctrine proclaims the body of a martyr to be purified by his death fighting for the faith, and therefore does not need to be washed before burial as all other Muslims must be.
