XP is so much better and easier to operate next to Vista and Windows 8 that I will keep my XP. It is a Jewell. I would guess that the kids will like Windows 8 because it looks so much like a game and they can’t easily hit the wrong key and mess things up because everything is so hidden.

It seems like it is so easy to screw up what you're doing in Windows 8. My mother is fighting breast cancer and the home nurse comes weekly to change the dressing on her picc for chemo. The home nurse brought a trainee with her and he was using the laptop/tablet PC and the was Windows 8 was set up, even if you move the arrow over a button, it "clicks" and there was a screwup because of it but it was later resolved.

I have two Vista systems and one XP system, I think I'll stick to Vista/XP for now.
