Kearsarge...now that brings back memories. I wonder if the old rust buckets Shreaveport or Nassau are still limping around from port to port.

Possible Syrian invasion force. Pretty soon we are going to have Russian ships following around our ships and playing chicken like the old days if Obama keeps this up.

Syria will end up being the clustepuck of all clusterpucks. It is just as likely that US war planes will be shot down by the Rebels as they will be shot down by the Syrians. These rebels some how have acquired some of the most advanced manpads on the planet made by the Russians and Chinese. They acquired them probably via the Benghazi trail. And how the heck can a rebel with a manpad tell the difference between Syrian and US airplanes ?
Syria's Rebels Already Have Advanced Missiles. But How Did They Get There?

Obama says, “don’t worry, Marines, someone has your back; I’m not sure who but I need to catch a nap if I’m going to make it to my fundraiser tomorrow.”

Kearsarge was the boat that launched the TRAPs that rescued Scott O’Grady and the F-15E crew; Major Kenneth Harney and Captain Tyler Stark, that went down in Libya in March of 2011.
