They had an ugly green toyota that always sat in the street in front of their house.
Finally, they sold it or junked it or whatever.
I was out in the front yard, when one of the neighborhood kids
got off the school bus and walked by their house.
the little girl hollered up to the man in the yard and said:
“Hey, where’s your green car?”
He looked shocked and went into the house.
I’m sure he thought she was asking about his “green card”.
I was rolling in laughter.
