Nice town, from what I remember back in the early-80s. I was VP Marketing for Hertz RAC, and spent time in Marietta at the regional HQ. Does The Abbey restaurant still exist in Atlanta? We ate there a lot. I remember a freak snowstorm when I arrived at Hartsfield-IA, and all our and other rental cos’ cars were smashed-up. The whole city shut-down until it melted, next day.
The Abbey Restaurant closed about 5 years ago.
The Atlanta area is freaky in even a hint of icy weather.
